Freedom walks in America have a rich and diverse history, including various forms of protest, but also as a symbol of remembrance. Prayer is a direct means to communicate with God expressing needs, desires, gratitude while also gaining comfort and strength from Him. We value our community and want to serve it by reflecting God, by being a lighthouse. One of the ways we will serve is with our Freedom & Prayer walk. The walk is not only to commemorate Juneteenth, but, more importantly, to honor God and our community by praying along our walk.
We will plan to walk around the building in prayer and then following that we invite you to join us as we serve our community by being part of a “clean-up squad” to help beautify our neighbrohood by picking up loose trash. We want to do our part and lead by example in our community and show that we care. We will split up into teams of people and walk a few blocks in specific locations near the church. More details and instructions will be provided after the service. Hope to see you there!

Sundays, June 8 – Aug. 10, 6:00-7:30 pm
(We will not meet on June 15 & July 27.)
Student Alpha is a class for high schoolers that creates space for meaningful conversations about life, faith, and purpose. Join us for a life-changing time of community, games, teaching, and worship. Great for skeptics and those who want to learn more about the Christian faith!
Parents of Addicted Loved Ones is a support group of parents helping parents. We meet the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month to offer education and support, at no cost, for parents who are dealing with a son or daughter battling addiction. PAL can also help spouses who have a partner with addiction issues. PAL is especially helpful for parents and spouses, but all other sober family members and friends (age 18 and older) are welcome at our meetings. You will have an opportunity to give support and receive support from others facing the same challenges.
