The Cupboard

Those in need can freely shop twice monthly from a selection of nonperishable food, milk, meat, produce, bread and personal care items for their families. The Cupboard is an agency partner with the Food Bank of Iowa, which allows us to purchase needed items at a very reasonable cost. A $10 donation helps us secure 71 lbs of food! MomCo (Mom Community)

MomCo is a space where moms of babies and young children gather, away from the chaos of daily life, to learn from and support one another in shared experiences of faith, love, and potty training!

We are a local chapter of MomCo Global (formerly MOPS International). Please note that beginning this year (2025-2026), the registration fee includes the registration for Hope’s MomCo group AS WELL AS each person’s registration required through the overall MomCo site. Prostate cancer disproportionately impacts Black men. Getting screened and staying informed is how we protect ourselves and each other.

WHY THIS MATTERS: About Us Save the Homies is an initiative powered by My City My Health Inc., focused on raising awareness around prostate cancer and improving health outcomes for men. We’re creating a movement rooted in culture, connection, and action. Through storytelling, screenings, and community-driven events, Save the Homies is about showing up for our brothers, our fathers, our friends — our homies. This event is part of a larger mission to get 1,000 men screened for prostate cancer (PSA tests). Early detection saves lives — and this movement starts with us.

Every Man’s Battle

Men, join us beginning Saturday, July 12, as we study the book “Every Man’s Battle” co-authored by local writer Fred Stoecker, with over 4 million copies sold. “Every Man’s Battle” deals with sexual integrity and offers real answers to the men seeking a way out of sexual immorality. No condemnation, only love and recovery.

Men’s Saturday Bible study starts at 8:00 am in The Commons, we will eat breakfast around 9:15 am, then at 10:00 am move to Room 304 and conclude by 11:30 am.

Alpha: Explore the Meaning of Life

The Alpha Course is an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening manner during thought-provoking weekly sessions. Each week participants meet for a meal and large group talk followed by small group discussion.

Are you or someone you love hurting from the pain of separation or divorce? DivorceCare is a confidential weekly seminar and support group. Be with people who understand what you are feeling, hear valuable information about how to heal from the hurt of divorce, and learn ways to handle the stresses that go with it. The format includes video teaching, a study guide, small group discussion and prayer.

Please purchase the DivorceCare workbook ($23) at Cafe Hope (Hope WDM) prior to the first class or workbooks will be available at the first class.
