Welcome to Hope Local Panora!
Hope Local Panora is Hope’s Local Site on the lake. You are invited to join us every week or anytime you are in town to enjoy some time on Lake Panorama. Hope Local Panora launched on May 16, 2021, and has steadily grown into a vibrant worshiping community. We gather for worship every Sunday at 9:30 am at The Port at 5405 Chimra Road on Lake Panorama. Our hope is to be a Christ-centered worship experience right in the middle of Guthrie County.

Hope Local Panora has a hot breakfast and holy communion on the first Sunday of every month. We also have a great area for children to hang out during worship with a play mat and toys. We even occasionally meet outdoors for special worship experiences near the water where Hopesters can even boat up to worship! Hope Local Panora is unique in that our regular Panora worshipers are joined by Hope members who are in town for the weekend spending time on the lake. Come join the fun!

What’s Happening at Hope Local Panora?
Hope Local Panora offers a weekly “tot spot” for our littlest Hopesters as well as a once-a-month HopeKids Wednesdays experience for students in kindergarten-grade 5. During the summer, we offer Vacation Bible School locally in conjunction with our friends in West Des Moines. We also have women’s and men’s groups for study and fellowship, and a 50+ Ministry is in development! Hope also has many online opportunities including Alpha and Bible studies to be done as a group or as self-paced studies. There truly is something for everyone!
HopeKids Wednesdays
Hope Local Panora is seeking to reach the community of Panora by offering a once-a-month after-school faith experience for kids called HopeKids Wednesdays. Based on the outstanding HopeKids West Des Moines curriculum, your kids will grow in their knowledge of Jesus with their friends from school. Join us for HopeKids Wednesdays on the first Wednesday of the month during the school year at Panora Elementary at 3:00 pm.

Get to Know Our Team
Emily and Billy Donovan are long-time Hope members originally attending worship and ministry at our West Des Moines and Waukee campuses. In the spring of 2021 they, along with a team of dedicated volunteers, formed a launch team to fulfil the vision to bring Hope to their hometown of Panora in Guthrie County.
