Welcome to Hope Local Newton!
Hope Local Newton launched in fall 2022 and has been a vibrant presence in the Jasper County community ever since. Meeting at Capitol II Theatre, we have “Popcorn Sunday” once per month and the most comfortable seats of any Local Site! Conveniently located in downtown Newton, Hope Local Newton has become a church home for those east of the Des Moines metro looking for a Spirit-filled worshiping community.

Advent Questions
The season of Advent is filled with waiting and anticipation. We wait and anticipate the celebration of Christmas Eve—the reality that God sent his son, Jesus, into the world. We also wait and anticipate the promise that he will come again! The season of Advent can also be filled with a lot of questions. This Advent, we will dive into questions about this season that impact our everyday lives. Questions about the Christmas blues, prophecy, peace, and joy. Join Hope this Advent as we prepare our hearts and minds to celebrate the greatest gift we have ever received—Jesus.
