Hope for Haiti Meal Packaging

For Hope’s 2025 Advent Project, you generously donated to help feed our hungry brothers and sisters in Haiti—now it is time to package meals! Our goal is to package 1.2 million meals in three days using the funds raised during Advent 2025: Hope for Haiti. Rally your family, friends, neighbors, or small group and sign up for a timeslot! All Hope campuses and Local Sites are invited to join us at Hope West Des Moines to help reach this goal. Thank you to our partners Meals from the Heartland, Convoy of Hope, and Many Hands for Haiti.

About Hope for Haiti

Haiti is facing its highest recorded levels of food insecurity ever, with 5.7 million people – more than half the population – facing acute hunger.

  • 2.1 million are at Emergency Level (Level 4 on a 5-point scale). The Central Plateau is now a critical crisis zone, strained by the collapse of national supply chains and a massive influx of families fleeing extreme gang violence in Port-au-Prince and other regions.
  • More than 1 million children are facing an emergency level of food insecurity, threatening an entire generation.
  • The nation’s poverty rate stands at 87.6% (defined as living on less than $6.85 per day), with an extreme poverty rate of 30.3% (less than $2.15 per day).

The list could unfortunately go on and on. And, that’s where we come in!
