40 Days of Discipleship
At the beginning of Jesus’ ministry, he called a group of people, his disciples, to follow him. They weren’t the type of people many would expect someone like Jesus to call. But that’s the point—Jesus doesn’t call the perfect (none of us are perfect). The invitation Jesus gave to them is the same one he extends to you! What does it mean? Come and join us for this life-changing sermon series, “40 Days of Discipleship,” and find out!

What’s Happening at Hope Local Panora?
Hope Local Panora offers a weekly “tot spot” for our littlest Hopesters as well as HopeKids meets every Sunday during the 9:15 am service for children Pre K through grade 5. During the summer, we offer Vacation Bible School locally in conjunction with Hope in West Des Moines. We also have women’s and men’s groups for study and fellowship, and a 50+ Ministry is in development! Hope also has many online opportunities including Alpha and Bible studies to be done as a group or as self-paced studies. There truly is something for everyone!
Join the Fun on Wednesday Nights!
HopeKids
HopeKids meets every Sunday during the 9:15 am service for children Pre K through grade 5. Kids stay with their families during worship music, then head upstairs for HopeKids during the sermon. Each week is run “one-room schoolhouse” style! The older kids often help lead and guide younger ones, creating a fun and faith-filled community where everyone learns together.
PowerLife
PowerLife is a fun, safe, and welcoming environment where junior high students (grades 6-8) can explore the Bible, ask challenging questions about life, meet new friends, and confirm their faith in Jesus Christ. As Hope’s confirmation ministry, PowerLife is designed to help students discover their faith through weekly gatherings where space is created for students to focus on building healthy, faith-filled relationships; learn more about God through worship, prayer, and our study of the Bible; and live out their faith by applying their beliefs to everyday life! A meal will be served at 5:30 pm, with PowerLife starting at 6:00 pm.

Ignition is the perfect next step for students after getting confirmed at PowerLife and for all high school students to grow closer to God!
