Welcome to Hope Local Bondurant!
Hope Local Bondurant, Hope’s Local Site on the east side of Des Moines, is seeking to grow the Kingdom of God in the city of Bondurant and eastern Polk County. Meeting every Sunday at Morris Elementary School, we invite you to worship with us! Hope Local Bondurant launched in January 2019 and quickly grew to an active worshiping community of more than 50 people. We are home to Hopesters of all ages and have ministries for the whole family.

Hope Local Bondurant has weekend worship opportunities and a growing HopeKids ministry. Our proximity to other Hope campuses means that we will often have live preaching from one of Hope’s many gifted preachers or teachers. We are also active in missions, partnering with the city of Bondurant to build five mini food pantry boxes to help those with food insecurity. There truly is something for everyone here at Hope Local Bondurant!

Advent Questions
The season of Advent is filled with waiting and anticipation. We wait and anticipate the celebration of Christmas Eve—the reality that God sent his son, Jesus, into the world. We also wait and anticipate the promise that he will come again! The season of Advent can also be filled with a lot of questions. This Advent, we will dive into questions about this season that impact our everyday lives. Questions about the Christmas blues, prophecy, peace, and joy. Join Hope this Advent as we prepare our hearts and minds to celebrate the greatest gift we have ever received—Jesus.

Get Involved at Hope Local Bondurant
Hope Local Bondurant offers HopeKids (our version of Sunday school) on Sunday mornings during the 9:15 am service at Morris Elementary. Led by an amazing team of volunteers, HopeKids is one of our favorite things we do on Sundays! We also partner with Hope Ankeny for high school ministry, Ignition, shuttling students to Hope Ankeny each Wednesday night to join their vibrant programs for students in grades 9-12.
In addition, we periodically join Hope West Des Moines for Alpha and are actively forming small groups for women, men, couples and more. We also offer Vacation Bible School in the summer by joining with other churches in the community.
